Wii Games For The Whole Family!

2007 was a banner year for Nintendo and their hot new console the Nintendo Wii, 2008 just became a whole lot better, and promises so much, and in more ways than one. Coming off from a highly successful December holiday where many have had the Nintendo hardware wonder on their Christmas list, the momentum just keeps on surging and is showing no signs that it'll be slowing down soon.

In fact, the new year has already shown that the new titles for the Wii have cornered a big chunk in the market with titles such as Endless Ocean, No More Heroes, and Bully: Scholarship Edition heading the surge forward. These games have shown much promise and more have been planned to be released this year.

It is undeniable that because of the Nintendo Wiis uniqueness in gameplay, more people are becoming quite interested. Choosing a game though can be quite difficult as more games are being released each month.

One Of The Recent Games Is The Lost Winds

This game is a WiiWare title that hasn't been much talked about before. This Nintendo game has surprisingly shown that it has the makings of a best seller. The Lost Winds game features two main characters. First is a small human character which you will be able to control using the arrow pad found on the Wii Nunchuk, the other is a creature that controls the wind which in turn is controlled by you by pointing your Wii Remote.

The basic gameplay involves controlling the human character into various positions so that the wind character can assist in moving him through obstacles, using the power of the wind as a substitute to the normal jumping abilities like what other famous games use. Just by waving your remote, you will be able to hurdle past different obstacles, although, some can be more challenging and may get some getting used to be able to surpass. With practice, you will be able to go through the game with relative breeze, no pun intended.

Like most games being produced for the Nintendo Wii, the Lost Winds is very interactive and promotes fun and entertainment effectively even though it does not score high in the originality department. Great visual styles, well crafted challenges, and an overall high fun factor makes this a great game title that many gamers, young and old will surely enjoy.
